Platforms and wireless delivery

riteMail Web Edition utilizes Java technology for Windows, Macintosh, Unix, Linux, and other desktops and pen computers. It can work with any Java-enabled Web browser, such as Internet Explorer, Netscape Communicator, Opera, and other browsers.

riteMail also works on Pocket PC, Palm Handhelds, and has a separate Windows application.

riteMail allows seamless delivery of handwritten messages for popular email clients, such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, Lotus Notes, Netscape Mail, as well as  Web-based email systems like AOL Mail, Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail and others*.

Users of mobile versions of riteMail on Pocket PC, Palm Handhelds, Windows laptops and other pen computers can receive handwritten message over POP3 and IMAP4 protocols from any SMTP server. riteMail supports direct wireless sending of handwritten messages over HTTP and SMTP protocols.

* In AOL Mail, Yahoo Mail, Hotmail and other popular Web-based email systems, Java applets in emails are often prohibited. In this case, riteMail messages will arrive as embedded images. Clicking on the "Write back" or on the accompanying text link opens the handwritten message in your Java-enabled browser and allows you to instantly respond in your own handwriting.
