riteMail
has three types of message folders: folders associated with email services in the
pre-loaded Inbox (Pocket Outlook) application, riteMail local
folders, and storage card folders. The first category of folders appear under the Mail item, the
second category - under the riteMail (local) item, and the third under riteMail (Storage Card).
riteMail
automatically extracts messages in riteMail format from your Device's Inbox application and places them into one of the
riteMail Message folders. Each Message folder represents one of the Services in
your Pocket PC's Inbox application, and the current riteMail Message folder retrieves handwritten messages from the current Service profile. For example, one profile may correspond to the ActiveSync, another to the
work IMAP4 server, or your ISP's POP3 mailbox.
The
riteMail notes folders allow you to organize your riteMail messages by topic. You may save
your riteMail message to the folder of your choice and can also add and remove folders. The ability to save messages into organized folders with or without sending them allows
you to use riteMail both as an email application and a note-taking application. Of course, you can always choose to open a saved note and email it as a
riteMail message. And vice versa, you may always edit and save
a received handwritten email as a note.

Select a folder by tapping it. All messages in the selected folder will appear on your screen. You can scroll
riteMail Message folders using the scroll bar on the right side of your display.
Tapping a message opens it. When viewing messages, you may choose how to sort them using the
Sort menu:

You have the following sort options:
- Sort by Subject: This option sorts your messages in ascending order (A-Z) based on their subject lines.
- Sort by Sender: This option
sorts your messages in ascending order (A-Z) based on their senders.
- Sort by Date: This option sorts your messages in ascending order (A-Z) based on their dates.

Adding & Removing Folders
You may add local
riteMail folders from Tools menu of when saving a message. Select Tools->New
Folder to add a folder from the menu. Or, when editing a riteMail message, select Message->Save or
Message->Save In to open the pull-down menu with its list of existing folders.
Highlight any folder name and enter a new folder name. Your message will be saved to the new folder when you tap the
OK button, and you will see your new folder added to the
folder list. This operation does not delete or rename any of your existing folders.
To delete a folder, open it and select
Tools->Delete Folder. Deleting a folder also deletes all of the messages saved in that folder. A confirmation dialog will appear allowing you to confirm or
cancel your decision to remove the folder.
